Join us May 14th, 2024, via zoom for our Youth and young adult transitions program as we her from Guest speaker Dr. Patricia Adams-Graves is professor of emeritus in Medicine and Hematology at the University of TN Health Science Center in Memphis.
In 2004, Dr. Adams-Graves implemented the first sickle cell disease-specific hospital unit in the nation and a computer education curriculum for nurses who deliver SC care utilized across the nation. As a hematologist-oncologist who has served for over 30 years and who also has family members who suffer from the disease, Dr. Adams-Graves is passionate about Sickle Cell disease. She is committed to serve as an advocate and excited about the endless possibilities ahead in which she will have the opportunity to continue the fight for social justice and healthcare equality, especially for those living with Sickle Cell Disease.
May 23rd, 2024 is family day for our Monthly support group participants. Please join us for a day of fun, food activities and more... This is a hybrid support group, but we ask that you try to attend in-person for this particular event.
